I've spent some time thinking on DRAKON Language definitions and I'm sure these English words reflect REAL meaning of what's described in Russian original
Thank you. May be you are partly right that " these English words reflect REAL meaning of what's described in Russian original."
However, it is not so important. REAL meaning is not important.
It is not a translation problem. We discuss creating and designing the new terms for the DRAKON language in English.
The old words became the terms already. They have already spread as the DRAKON terms. Therefore, they can not be changed. The time is lost. Any change in the terms causes confusion. It is really bad. It is really important.
"Toggle" is not good. Because "Switch" is used in C programming language just as in DRAKON. Switch is the special term in programming. Switch is NOT for "On/Off" in C programming language.
The "Shaft" is a grey uninteresting word. The "Skewer" is much better.
And so on.
The time has gone. Now it is impossible to change the English terms of the DRAKON language.
